The exhibition building consists of an unlimited number of silvery, boxlike rafts, which are tied fabriclike together. Every function has its own box, every box has its own storage. The size of the modular units correspond to the different needs. 

Every box is usable as a multi-functional space unit. The two inhabiting institutions, each one with its own set of rooms, can profit of the possibilities of common activities and events. They also can share rooms or „help out“ their neighbour. 

Each unit has its own pontoon. The connecting walkways are made by steel tubes which work as flexible joints. This way, the whole building is floating like a fabric. The pontoons bear the steel frames of the boxes. The shiny aluminum cladding reflects the play of water and light.
